Not a sprint. . . .blahblahblah. the loss upsets me at the moment - the next day I have to tell myself that the outcome of the Brewers game the day before has little impact on my life overall and I tell myself today is the start of a new winning streak. . . .then I drag my azz through the rest of the day until the next game starts. Oh, also, I drink heavily. . . .

I think you just jinxed us. . . .I've got the Packers family day game (or lack thereof) on the TV and the Brewers on the radio (sorry, no cable. I buy season tickets (20 games) instead.)

Huh. I'm not one for jinxes, but I would think that something more along the lines of "we're up 8-1, we are effin' invincible!!!" would be the kind of statement that would be more appropriate for a jinx.
