Losing two thirds of your game in a month is not a recipe for making the playoffs or being a good team period. Unfortunately, that is what the Brewers accomplished in the month of July- the month of my birthday- the month of summer- and the month of baseball. Kind of depressing. That said, we have 2 months to turn this giant ship around. Unfortunately, we stink at the moment and can't string anything together. The goal in baseball though is to get hot at the right time and not get too low when you really stink. Fortunately, we're in the NL Central and though the Cards and Cubs are playing well right now- they still haven't taken off with the division. We have a chance. We can do it.
We just have to take baby steps of winning series one at a time. Day by day. Game by game. Play some ball and hit dongs all the time. Why did Corey Hart get injured? Because he's too tall. We need to push without him.
