Wow. Felipe Lopez is one lucky man with that muy caliente wife of his. What a babezilla? I don't know why I haven't experimented more with xesy images. Also, I now know why Felipe is good at baseball- he has to impress that mamacita. I can't believe the Brewers finally lost to the Pirates. I thought that would never happen. I suppose an 18-game streak is pretty good against one team, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed we lost.
What's up with that fight in the first game of a series? Let's keep it going and escalate to a huge brawl today- and then an unprecedented full-stadium brawl on Wednesday!
Secondarily, I was pretty upset about the Crew losing until I watched SportsCenter and then saw the comedy of losers that was the Cubs. Then the Cardinals going down as well. The division is there for the taking fo sho.
Also, Kendall is totally the man. Dropping knowledge by telling the guy to either walk to first or fight the pitcher and then calling the coach the wrong name: "I just told him to go to first base or go to the pitcher," Kendall said. "It's baseball. There's no need to sit there and talk and this and that."
Both benches and bullpens quickly cleared but not much more than some screaming and shoving took place and nobody was ejected. Kendall got into a shouting match with Pirates pitching coach Joe Kerrigan, whom Kendall repeatedly called by the wrong name after the game despite being told of his real name.
"I was OK until Dave Kerwin started yelling at me," said Kendall, who ignored the correction. "I'm not going to get yelled at. He started yelling at me and . . . I'm OK until someone starts yelling at me.
"I don't know why (he was yelling). Dave Kerwin? I don't know why."

I think your scenario of a full stadium brawl at PNC vastly overestimates the crowd-drawing potential of the Pirates in their current form. ;)

BM: I love it that the first result on Google Image search for 'Felipe Lopez' is that pic of his smokeshow wife. Thanks for bringing that to the forefront. Tough loss yesterday. How cool is it that Smith plunked Karstens, even though Smith was not even with the Crew when Brauny Man was hit? Also upping the cool factor is that the pitcher got payback for Brauny, even though Brauny called out the pitching staff after the Cubs series. Way for the team to stick together... now let's start a new 17-game winning streak!

The Bucs had NO business putting Karstens in that game yesterday. They did that on purpose, and they were purposely looking for trouble. It was taunting as far as I am concerned. L'il b'stard got what he deserved.
