Curse ESPN for playing with my emotions this morning. I had SportsCenter on before heading to work and they were doing one of their My Wish segments. It was a little 6 year-old from Texas, huge Cowboys fan, with a big tumor in his chest. He went to a Cowboys practice with no hair and his favorite player is Marion Barber. Marion brought him on the players-only bus- taped up his little fingers for practice. And as I was lacing up my shoes- it was getting a little dusty in my room. Emotional start to the week.
And it doesn't look like it's going to get any easier with Teve back in the picture. BIG week with the Cards coming to town. Holy schnikes. Is this the season on the line now? Obviously not, but let's take care of business this week and assert ourselves. I love the Brewers so much.
