Wicked bad thunderstorm in Milwaukee last night. Flash flooding, tons of thunder and lightening, and a little bit of hail according to local unofficial weather reporters. I had my window open and the thunder sounded amazing. Like it was ripping across Lake Michigan, racing to echo off the US Bank building. Akip, akipidy-kipidy-kipidy-kipidy-kaBOOOMMM goes the dynamite. Hopefully it was an indication of the 10 runs per game offensive storm that is about to hit Detroit City this weekend. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this series--those Tiggers have some pop. Hopefully we can light-up Armando Gallaraga like the Milwaukee sky! The dude hasn't won a game since April 26--that's almost two months! Then Saturday we get rookie Alfredo Figaro making his MLB debut, on national TV for good measure. Hopefully we can rough him up, too--before the big climax between Gallardo and Verlander on Sunday. Should be fun!
